End of Year Events for the Year 12 Students
There may be 4 months until the Year 12 students have their final day at St Joseph’s School, however, plans are well underway for their Graduation and major end of year events.
The Year 12 students will spend their final week of school celebrating their highs and lows of their schooling life. In their final week of school, the Year 12s attend a 2 day retreat held at Leslie Dam, Warwick where they participate in activities including a presentation by Real Talk, an evening Liturgy and reading of affirmation letters.
On their return to school, the next few days are dedicated to preparations for their special Graduation event including setting their families tables. The Graduation Mass and Dinner is a special and memorable evening for the students and their families with this occasion always proving to be an unforgettable experience for all those involved. The Graduation Mass is beautiful and moving and a fitting way to send off these young men and women after their time spent at St Joseph’s School. The evening includes dinner, speeches and time spent together before these young people begin their journey into adult life.
On their final day, the Year 12s and their families attend a Whole School Farewell Liturgy which is a very special ceremony. This is followed by a morning tea, signing shirts and final photos. A wonderful and special final week in the life of our Year 12 students.
