On Wednesday, 28 May, St Joseph’s was buzzing with excitement as students and staff dressed in their team colours to mark the first State of Origin match. The school was a vibrant mix of Maroons and Blues, with plenty of team pride and friendly rivalry on display.

Although the outfits were full of passion, the scoreboard told a different story—New South Wales took the win, leaving Queensland supporters hopeful for a strong comeback in Game 2.

It was a fun-filled day that brought our school community together in the true spirit of sport and camaraderie!
